We want to extend our house, what order do we need to do things in?
Get house plans drawn up first, get engineering plans/engage an engineer if there are structural changes, then we can quote.
Do we have to move out?
More often than not it is not necessary to move out during an extension or addition build!
How long will it take to do our extension?
Once we have completed your quote we will have a timeline for you.
What could add value to my home?
Closing in garages and building carports to the boundary are great ways of adding value and room to your home—going up a level is also an excellent idea.
Do I need planning permission for a home extension?
Most home extensions will require approval from your local council. This is especially true for structural changes, changes to the building footprint or height and work near boundaries.
It’s best to check early on to avoid delays later. A draftsperson or builder familiar with your local area can usually help with the paperwork.
