    At Michael Duncan Constructions, we get asked this question a lot!


    • Renovations are really fixing something that is broken, old or updating outdated things like kitchens & bathrooms
    • Extensions are building extra space out on the ground floor - essentially taking up more of your backyard
    • Additions are going vertically up a level – adding an extra floor

  • Do I need building plans?

    Building plans are required to quote your project. We can organise plans for your next project with a draftsmen we can recommend.

  • Will you be onsite?

    At Michael Duncan Constructions, we know how important it is to be a hands on builder. 


    Providing onsite management makes the difference between a house and a home. You can expect Michael Duncan to be there every step of the way for your next project!

  • How long will my new home take to build?

    Once we have completed your quote we will be able to provide a program of work that will detail the multiple stages and appropriate time frames for your project.

  • Is your construction company on the Gold Coast insured?

    Yes, we are insured with Master Builders Association.

  • Do I need council approval to build a new home, extension or renovation?

    All of these projects require council approval, also known as certification.

  • Can you organise building certifying/certification?

    Michael Duncan Constructions is experienced in the entire building process from certification to handover. This expertise means we are able to help initiate certification and make sure your building process goes as smoothly as possible.

  • Are you a registered builder?

    Michael Duncan Constructions have been building homes on the Gold Coast for more than 25 years. Our building registration is with QBCC.
